Optimizing Event Data Handling with ACTIVE APIs in Mobile Apps

Hi everyone,
I've been exploring the ACTIVE Developer APIs recently and found the event and activity data structure really useful for building sports and fitness-based applications.
At Suffescom, we work on mobile app development projects in Australia, and we're currently experimenting with integrations that involve event listings, real-time data syncing, and API-based discovery features for users.
One challenge we're looking into is how to efficiently handle large-scale event data (like filtering, caching, and reducing API load) while keeping the app performance smooth on mobile devices.
Would love to know how others are handling:
o Optimizing API calls for high-volume event data
o Improving response times for event search/filter APIs
o Best practices for caching frequently updated listings
Looking forward to learning from your experiences.
