Today is Jan 30th 2012. When I call a search for availability on Feb 13th 2012 it successfully returns the xml for available campsites.
However, if I use exactly the sam url but change the day to Feb 14th 2012 it give a reserveamerica unformatted html page.
Is active.com only keeping data two weeks ahead?

Resolved - silly mistake. The url format is ''m/d/Y" and so the 14th month is breaking it. Switch the days/months format fixes it.
