I am getting repeated Timeout errors trying to make api calls tonight. It will work on one call, then time out on the next, then work, then time-out. It's been this way all night. Very frustrating.

This problem is persisting today - Tues, April 19, 10:50am Central time. I have been able to determine that it is the request to the Active API that is timing out. It doesn't happen every time, but quite often. I generate requests as often as 2 per minute, or sometimes several minutes in between calls. Last night, about 50% were failing, today, about 25% are failing.

Hey Mary,
Our reporting does show a spike in timeouts for the Search API starting on 18 April and peaking yesterday, then returning to normal so far today. I'll dig in a bit more to see what's up. In the meantime, what timeout setting to you have on your side? Our API is configured to return a 504 (gateway timeout) in 45 seconds.
Also, can you send me a sample API query that's timing out?

Ok, here's the latest update. It turns out one of the nodes behind our Search API ran out of diskspace yesterday. We resolved the issue yesterday afternoon, and after our cache cleared several hours later behavior returned to normal.
